Frequently Asked Questions

How are your records graded?

Every record is graded according to the Goldmine scale (Mint, Near Mint, Very Good Plus, Very Good, etc.) which includes Excellent, equating to Very Good Plus. I grade the media and sleeve separately, and both are shown on each listing. Many items on Discogs have a full description and have been play tested. Where items have only been graded by eye, the description will say so. Items on eBay have only been graded by eye.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. I ship worldwide from the UK. Exact postage and delivery times are shown at checkout on the platform you’re buying through (eBay or Discogs).

What if a record arrives damaged?

Records are packed carefully for the journey, and every shipment is insured against loss or damage. If something arrives broken, get in touch through the platform you used and we’ll sort it out promptly.

Can I return a record I don’t like?

Returns are handled under the terms of the platform you bought through. If there’s a genuine problem - a grading error, or something not matching the photos - I’ll always work with you to make it right.

Why are some items on eBay and others on Discogs?

The more valuable and collectible individual records are listed on Discogs. Great-value batches of related records are sold as job lots on eBay.

Can I buy your whole collection?

Yes. I am open to negotiation. If you’re serious about buying in bulk or the entire collection, just get in touch via raretunestore@gmail.com.
